Our mission at BIG SMILES FOUNDATION is not about fixing people, but to create an environment that promotes independence without stress, fear, or anxiety as each individual finds work, go to school, or begin a career.

LIFE SKILLS AND SPIRITUAL MENTOR
Mrs. Mary which she is known as by the many close friends in her circle and church family, works tirelessly to promote education, and self-worth to the youth and those that are struggling with personal and spiritual issues.
Marcus Jr. has an A.A. Degree in Business Management, and has completed Self-Help groups such as Anger Management, Victim Impact and Awareness, Substance Abuse (over 22 years sober), and Security Guard Certification. He is also a comic cartoonist and creator of the series ‘CALI*CARCERATION’ and T-Shirt line CALI*CARCERATION The Prison State. He is also an author of a community acclaimed Self-Help book. He also has Certification Training in Sober Living Housing. Mr. Marcus Jr. is an Advanced Peer Support Specialist and oversees the daily operation of the sober living/shared housing/transitional residence. His experience and knowledge give him the ability and understanding it takes to be able to support other men in their challenges of recovery and maintenance. Big Smiles Foundation is looking to be a model in temporary housing for homeless veterans and parolees that are serious about getting their life on track and stabilized so they can return to being an asset to our society and local community.
Marisha is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Marisha went on to complete a master’s degree in education: Counseling at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
